Good times! ~ “Being first timers to wine country, we didn’t know where to go so after answering some of his questions prior to our departure, Tom put together a complete itinerary along with addresses, mapped out route, websites, tasting times, & cost per wine tasting. I think if you are new to wine country or even if you’ve been there before, Tom is your man if you’re looking for an expert guide. All of the winery’s he took us to were very scenic and had great vino! Thanks for making our trip so fun Tom.”

Fantastic Experience ~ “This was our first visit to California’s wine country. We brought our 20-something daughters and friends. Tom’s involvement made the difference between a good trip and a fantastic trip. His recommendations for restaurants, wineries, scheduling, driving, managing weather issues were all absolutely invaluable. The part we loved most was his vast and varied knowledge of the area, the industry, history and people. Tom’s professionalism, promptness, and smooth management behind the scenes of our trip were top notch from beginning to end. Cannot recommend this service enough!”

About Tom
Tom Jarman first discovered his passion for the wine industry in the early 1990s, as his first job out of college he fell into a sales position for a wine distributor in Michigan. Then promoted to the Pennsylvania state representative for Baron Phillipe de Rothschild portfolio along with many other boutique wines & spirits.
During this experience, it inspired him to move to the Napa Valley in 1996, where he created/owned/operated the Napa Valley Clothing Company for nearly 14 years servicing the entire Napa Valley supplying tasting rooms with all their embroidered clothing.
Tom was very involved in the local business community as he was an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce in St. Helena, dabbled with his own wine label for a short time, owned the first Lucky Brand Jean store in Napa and became a self-proclaimed cartographer with his “most detailed winery map” of the Napa Valley.
In 2010, he sold the business and went on to pursue an M.B.A in Business Administration and Management from Sonoma State University.
While in school, he was the chief concierge at the Silverado Resort and Spa, worked in the tasting room at Alpha Omega Winery in Rutherford, back to the hotel industry as a concierge at Bardessono Hotel and Spa in Yountville then became the Brand Manager for B Cellars Winery & Vineyards in Oakville.
During the B Cellars tenure, he was the liaison between the hotels, wineries and drivers to increase visitation for the winery and at this point, realized he could combine all his experience as a tour guide in the Napa Valley which led to the birth of Destination Napa Valley in October of 2016.
As the business grows, Tom enjoys living in Napa with his wife Nicho, woodworking, cartography and caring for their two Shih-Tzu puppies; George & Oliver!
